The MemScreen app (package: org.memscreen.memscreen), developed by Julien Dumurgier in partnership with Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), is committed to protecting users’ privacy and complying with relevant data protection regulations.
1. Data Collected
The MemScreen app may collect the following data:
- Results from cognitive tests performed within the app,
- Technical information about the device (e.g., device type, operating system version).
All tests are strictly anonymous. The app does not collect any personally identifiable information (such as name, date of birth, email address, phone number, or location).
2. Purpose of Data Collection
The data collected is used exclusively for research and clinical purposes, with the goal of improving the detection and understanding of memory-related disorders.
3. Data Sharing
The data collected through MemScreen:
- Is never shared with commercial third parties,
- May be used anonymously by research teams at AP-HP or affiliated institutions for scientific studies, in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
4. Data Security
All data is securely stored. The app does not store or transmit any identifiable personal information.
5. User Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the right to:
